Yummy Flourless Protein Avocado Brownies

I’ve been craving brownies for such a long time and when i heard that you can make protein brownies with avocado and flourless ingredients, I had to try it soothe my inner sweet tooth. Using healthy alternate ingredients like eggs, almond butter, avocado, unsweetened cocoa powder and a healthy dose of mixed nuts, I was ready to make this recipe and enjoy every bite.

There are a few good substitutions that you can make to your own preferences and finish it the way that you want so let’s give it a try and make this yummy flourless low carb keto avocado brownies.

Ingredients for Low Carb and Protein Avocado Brownies

Ingredients for Low Carb and Protein Avocado Brownies

2 medium sized avocados mashed

2 large eggs

1/2 cup of butter equivalent to the whole stick

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1/4 cup almond butter

1/2 cup low carb sweetener, I use allulose but you can use any sweetener you like

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/4 cup of mixed nuts

It takes about 5 minutes to prep your ingredients and then another 20 minutes to bake it and you’ll get some delicious brownies in no time. Just make sure when you take it out of the oven you leave some time for it to cool off on the countertop.

Heat the convention oven or air fryer at 350 degrees to preheat.

In a large bowl melt the butter and let cool, eventually add the other wet ingredients, the vanilla extract, mashed avocados, sweetener, almond butter and then the eggs and mix well.

Add the dry ingredients to the mixture including baking soda, salt, cocoa powder and salt and mix well.

Mix in your nuts and then use a spatula to pou into a lightly greased oven pan or baking pan.

Wait for the pre-heat bell to sound and then place in oven for 20 minutes and check when done.

Place on a wire rack on the countertop to cool off.

You can use protein powders if you really want to amp up this recipe

Any helpful nut like almonds, cashews, sunflower or peanut will be a great addition to this recipe

You can add a dollop of fresh whip cream for a little bit of delicious toppings
