Healthy and yummy protein cookies low carb
For someone who needs more protein in your diet, these healthy protein cookies are low carb and really hit the spot. Using protein powders, sugar substitute and no sugar dark chocolate, these cookies taste so good and are still healthy. Soft and chewy with melted chocolate you can taste right out of the oven, this really hits the spot for a snack or desert treat.
You can do some substitutions to turn this cookie into something that works for you, especially adding other ingredients to pack in the flavor and maybe more texture to the eating experience. I mean who doesn’t need more yummy cookies in their lives that’s healthy.
Ingredients for these protein chocolate and peanut butter cookies
1 cup of peanut butter
1 large egg
2/3 cup sugar substitute (I use allulose)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
Make these protein chocolate and peanut butter cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or use a rubber baking sheet
In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well
Shape the cookie dough into 10 large balls and put them on the parchment paper.
Press into the middle of each ball to flatten and create a cookie shaped form.
Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes and you see the cookies especially if the edges start to brown.
Take out from the oven when you start to see the change and let cool on a rack on the baking sheet.
